GEMÜ is a leading world-wide manufacturer of valves, measurement and control systems. The globally focussed, independent family owned enterprise headquartered in Ingelfingen has built up a good reputation since 1964 due to its innovative products and customized solutions in the field of process media control and established itself as a market leader in various sectors. Today the GEMÜ Group has 6 manufacturing centres and over 16 sales subsidiaries throughout the world, employing over 950 people. A large distributor network provides for a suitable presence in many countries.

Control of process media - GEMÜ's core competence

GEMÜ supplies customers in the Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Food and Beverage industries, the Semiconductor and Chemical industries, Water supply and Effluent systems and many other sectors of Industrial plant and Machinery. GEMÜ products are used in drinking water treatment but just as well in chemical processes, extraction and processing of ores and metals, etching and polishing of silicon wafers, filling of drinks or extraction of pharmaceutical active substances. Our valves control and regulate inert, corrosive, liquid and gaseous media and steam. Our product range is completed by state-of-the-art automation components for valve connection, control and regulation in modern plant and process control systems. A large number of these products are field bus capable or can be used in explosion-proof areas. We also offer measurement systems for volumetric flow, pressure, temperature, level detection and monitoring.

Whether it’s aseptic stainless steel diaphragm valves for sterile processes, large butterfly valves for sea water desalination plants, ultra pure plastic valves for the semiconductor industry, globe and solenoid valves for controlling water and steam or ball valves for bio-diesel systems - we offer them all. Versatile modular systems and adapted automation components can be combined in a great variety of predefined standard products of the highest quality, as well as countless customised solutions. A high level of expertise in consulting and training courses for our customers round off the service portfolio. We always keep a close eye on customer benefits and a good price/performance ratio.

Looking to the future with GEMÜ

Having a deep passion for technology. GEMÜ spends a large amount of money for the development of new products every year. In the new Innovation Centre currently being built in Waldzimmern, more than 50 designers and technicians will look after the development of new products and the further development of existing products. A high training ratio in Germany of approx. 7 % ensures a constant supply of qualified staff. In order to ensure a constant quality level of their products, GEMÜ invests large amounts every year in the expansion and modernisation of our production sites. Modern laser welding systems, robot workstations and flexible multi-axis machining centres ensure a great production capability and productivity. Our flexible productionfacilities enable us to handle orders with just one piece as well as large projects with more than 10,000 valves.
