The AS-i Module meets the requirements of the AS-i specification 2.1 and it is a robust housing solution for cabinet mounting for an AS-i slave.
The board is completely powered by AS-i. The inputs are short circuit and overload protected. The outputs are change over.
The status of the in- and outputs is displayed by LEDs. Additionally the both AS-i LEDs (PWR green and AS-i FLT red) show the status of the AS-i slave as usual for AS-i slaves.
A watchdog function, which switchs the outputs to their currentless switching state if there is no communication on the AS-i circuit, is integrated.
Using the inputs, you can interrogate up to 4 mechanical switching elements. Using the outputs, you can drive up to 4 indicator lights.
